on the residents of California and Washington. First up, Tommy will be playing at Cal State Northridge, a special performance
for the students and residents of Northridge proving Tommy's relevance as a multigenerational artist. Next, he'll be in the
progressive town of Arcata, gathering musical aficionados from all over Humboldt county as he plays a show just a stones throw
from Humboldt State University at the John Van Duzer Theatre. Finally, don't miss Tommy as he makes his way to the tip top
of the United States and plays a special performance at Seattle's iconic Moore Theatre, bringing Tommy's mini tour to an end

About Tommy Emmanuel
musical beginnings started young, touring the Australian countryside as a quickly learning musician and guitarist before his
age reached double digits. Under the tutelage of the his musician father, Tommy became accustomed to the life of a musician
early on, a conditioning that would stick with him for the rest of his life as he has continued the family tradition for the
entirety of his lifetime to date.
Tommy Emmanuel's formative years were spent drifting in and out of various musical
side projects, dabbling in various genres from folk and country to rock and southern jam. He would cross paths with some of
biggest trailblazers in the early rock industry, eventually taking up residence with the John Farnham Band, which would allow
him to leapfrog his way to a prime time gig performing at the Sydney Summer Olympics.
Not content with the trappings
of being part of an ensemble, Tommy soon embarked on his solo career, gaining steady momentum over the course of decades as
he built a global fanbase and would have accolades rained down upon him with every periodic release. Amongst his many awards,
Tommy Emmanuel received a Guitar Player certification from legendary rocker Chet Atkins, recognitions from Acoustic Guitar
and Guitar Player Magazines, and multiple nods from the big leagues with various Grammy nominations. Showing no signs of slowing
down, Tommy continues to write and perform, hitting all corners of the globe as he brings his signature sound and pioneering
spirit to satisfied audiences everywhere.
Tommy's big debut on the music scene would drop
in 1979, with the release of From Out of Nowhere that was squarely within the country and bluegrass genres. Released on Trafalgar
records, the album contained ten tracks of unadulterated bluegrass bliss including "Limehouse Blues", "Dixie Breakdown", and
"Dixie McGuire". The album would be just the beginning of a wave making music career that would eventually span over five
After an extended break, Tommy Emmanuel dropped Up from Down Under, moving in a pop country jazz direction
as he honed his craft and his sound. Under the producing tutelage of Rod Tamlyn, the album featured both original and cover
material, including the title track "Up From Down Under", "Night Sky", and Beatles creation "Michelle".
has pioneered his own style of playing, dubbed hybrid picking by the music community. Literally bending the neck of his guitar
as he plays, Tommy creates a signature live sound by modifying his guitar's pitch to precise and usually unheard of levels
during his live performances.
Chet Atkins, who gave Tommy a Guitar Player certification, had been Tommy's musical idol
from a young age. The recognition from Chet was a pivotal moment for Tommy and his music career.
