Born in Ghent, Belgium, Trixie Whitley moved to New York when she was just a year old, with her father, musician
Chris Whitley. In her teens, Trixie became known as the youngest resident DJ in Europe, and was embraced by Belgium's Museum
of Modern Art and spinning at raves, festivals, and parties in Brussels, Paris, New York City, and Amsterdam. She quit school
to moved to New York City at age 17, where she working as a waitress while performing music in local clubs. In 2005, she returned
to Belgium and continued to write and record. In 2008, she recorded her first EP, Strong Blood, and went on to collaborate
with some of the world's finest musicians and producers, working with Marc Ribot, Robert Plant, Stephen Barber, Marianne Faithfull,

Trixie's big break came in 2008, when producer Daniel
Lanois (U2, Bob Dylan, Brian Eno, Peter Gabriel, Neil Young) invited her to study under him at the Berklee School of Music.
This resulted in the widely successful collaboration of Trixie's song "I'd Rather Go Blind" – with drummer Brian Blade
(Joni Mitchell, Wayne Shorter, Joshua Redman), which earned instant attention from musicians and critics alike. After throwing

Trixie Whitley Festival Tickets
In 2010 and 2011 as she toured the world performing with Black Dub. During the
Black Dub recording sessions, she also recorded her second EP, The Engine, featuring her own music. In early 2012, she returned
to the studio to finish her debut album, Fourth Corner. That summer, she also stayed busy with festivals appearances at Bonnaroo,
SXSW, and Celebrate Brooklyn. Tracy did her first U.S. tour last year, and this year she's getting ready to do it all over
