2014 Troy Trojans Football Schedule

The Troy Trojans are ready to defend their home turf this season as some of the top teams in college football try to come into their house and score a victory. The Trojans have a proud football team that won't back down from any opponent, and they're hoping to put together a banner season in 2014. In 2013, the Trojans had some big wins and ultimately went 4-3 in conference play, which is an accomplishment considering the level of competition that goes down in the Sun Belt Conference. Though it doesn't have the national reputation of the SEC or Big 10, the Sun Belt has some great football and is filled with playmakers developing to play on the next level as well, making it a place to catch many of the stars of both today and tomorrow.

The schedule is also loaded to the brim with amazing matchups that you won't want to miss out on, giving you all of the incentive you need to head out and see your Trojans the way they were meant to be seen. Home games against teams like New Mexico State, Appalachian State, Georgia State and more will have Veterans Memorial Stadium absolutely loaded with passion and fanfare throughout the season. Don't forget about the road matchups either, as seeing the Trojans on the road is one of those things that every fan needs to do sooner or later. When the game is heating up and the Trojans are looking to pull down a bit win that shoots them up the standings, it simply doesn't get any better than this.

Troy Trojans Football Team Info

The Sun Belt offers all kinds of opportunities and challenges throughout the year, which makes sure that the Trojans continually bring in exciting new playmakers to keep up with the talent level in the conference. Anytime you finish conference play with a winning record is a good season when you play in the Sun Belt, which is exactly what happened thanks to some clutch wins by the Trojans in 2013. Thanks to a well-balanced roster that can do it all on the gridiron after kick-off, the Trojans have no intention of going quietly in another intense season of Sun Belt football, which means the real winners are the fans who head out to the stadium to show their support.
