The Susquehanna Bank Center History
The Susquehanna Bank Center, located in Camden, New Jersey, has been one of
the most popular outdoor music venues on the East Coast since it first opened in 1995 as the Blockbuster/Sony Music Entertainment
Centre. The venue was also known as the Tweeter Center at the Waterfront before becoming the Susquehanna Bank Center in 2008.
Whatever its name, the Susquehanna Bank Center has been known to put on some of the best outdoor concerts in all of New Jersey
and has been doing so for nearly 20 years. Performances at the Susquehanna Bank Center are immensely popular and tickets can
occasionally be hard to find but StubHub is the place to go for all of the hottest concerts tickets including tickets for
every performance at this spectacular venue.
The Susquehanna Bank Center Events
The Susquehanna Bank Center
is best known for the incredible concerts it puts on and with acts like Bruno Mars, Lionel Richie, Wiz Khalifa, KISS, Linkin
Park, and more hitting the stage it is easy to understand why. Big time music festivals are also regularly held at the venue
including the Vans Warped Tour, Xponential Music Festival, Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival, the Uproar Festival, and
more. Concerts are a big deal in the summer but when the weather gets cold the Susquehanna Bank Center does not shut down.
The venue has the ability to convert into a smaller, enclosed theater that puts on Broadway productions during the colder
months.
Philadelphia Pennsylvania
Camden is located just across the Delaware River from Philadelphia,
and as the second largest city on the East Coast, there is always plenty to do in Philadelphia. Sports fans can get their
fix by attending a Phillies MLB game, an Eagles NFL game, a 76ers NBA game, or a Flyers NHL game. There are also several colleges
located in the city offering top notch collegiate athletics all year. Of course getting a cheese steak and walking to the
Liberty Bell is a must for people during their first visit to the City of Brotherly Love. The University of Pennsylvania boasts
the Rodin Museum which has the largest Rodin collection outside of France, and the Philadelphia Museum of Art is one of the
biggest museums in the country whose steps were made famous in the movie Rocky when the titular character finished a workout
running up the building's stairs and raising his arms triumphantly at the top.
