For more than a decade Tycho has been at the forefront of the ambient IDM scene. IDM is a sub-genre
of electronic dance music whose initials stand for "intelligent dance music." As such, Tycho makes music that is more experimental
than other forms of electronic music but just as capable of making the crowd dance. Tycho has produced art in various media
and under different names, by far his most successful and enjoyable output has been as Tycho. He stands as one of the premiere
electronic music artists in the world and puts on one of the most exciting concerts in the genre with the incorporation of

has an exciting tour lined up i 2014 that will have him playing at several of the biggest cities in the country through the
summer. On April 8th Tycho will be performing at First Avenue in Minneapolis, followed by shows in Chicago, Pontiac, Toronto,
Cambridge, New York, Philadelphia, Washington D.C., and Houston during the rest of the month. Tycho kicks off May with a May
1st show at the Parish in Austin, Texas, before heading off to Albuquerque, Los Angeles, and Sacramento where he will wrap
up this portion of his tour on May 10th. Tycho also has a couple of one off performances during the summer, the first on July

About the Artist
Tycho, also known
as Scott Hansen, has been a driving force on the ambient music scene sine he first started releasing music back in 2002. He
has worked as a DJ and producer and also dabbled in design and photography under the name ISO50. He has occasionally released
work under the name Ghostly International, which is one of the record labels that has released his music along with Gammaphone
Records and Merck Records. He has had music featured on several soundtracks, most frequently on Cartoon Network/Adult Swim's
Toonami. Tycho sets himself apart from other EDM artists not only through his unique music but also his love performances
which incorporate live instrumentation courtesy of Zac Brown and Rory O'Connor who join him on stage playing bass and drums.
Tycho has released several singles and EPs as well as four studio albums: Sunrise Projector, Past Is Prologue, Dice, and 2014's
Awake. Tycho has long been known to put on one of the best shows in all of contemporary music, so be sure to catch him while

Tycho garnered a lot of attention right from the start as people in the
know in the underground EDM scene fell in love with his live performances and news of a bright new star in the genre began
to spread through word of mouth and popular music blogs. His independently released debut EP, 2002's The Science of Patterns,
garnered Tycho even more attention and he quickly was signed to Gammaphone Records. As Tycho got more and more popular, demand
for his out of print debut EP also grew and Gammaphone re-released The Science of Patterns in 2007. As Tycho went on to tour
and record even more his loyal following continued to grow and he now is one of the most popular EDM artists in the world.

Fullest which was featured during the broadcast. Additionally, Tycho's song Cascade was played during the closing moments
of the final original Toonami broadcast in 2008.
