Roddy White wasn't the only player to get snagged in the first round, as linebacker/defensive end Bryan Thomas
also was picked in the first round, as he was selected with the 22nd pick of the 2002 draft by the New York Jets. Part of
the reason for Thomas being such a great NFL prospect was because of his combine performance, as the bruising defender even
ran a 40-meter dash below 4.5, making him a rare linebacker/defensive end with wide receiver-caliber speed.

great home venue that has a capacity of more than 71,000. In addition to hosting the UAB Blazers, Legion Field also hosts
