Schedule

The UMass Lowell Riverhawks hockey team is ready to hit the ice to take on some of the best college hockey teams in the NCAA Ranks. The Riverhawks have a lot of confidence coming into the 2013 season, and for good reason, as this team is ready to take on anyone that dares face off with them at the Tsongas Center in Lowell, MA. There are a lot of great matchups on the schedule this season, and fans of this team are sure to be packing into the arena for all the biggest games.

The Riverhawks will have back-to-back battles with the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame on November 22nd and 23rd. The Fighting Irish are always a proud team that has a history of winning in any sport. The Riverhawks know this is not going to be a walk in the park, so they're sure to bring their A game. With their talented roster, though, there's no reason to think that the Hawks can't emerge from this weekend tilt with two big wins. Fans are sure to show up in a big way for these games, and rightfully so, and they're sure to see some of the best college hockey action in the country.

The Riverhawks have another back-to-back tilt on January 3rd and 4th when they host the Clarkson Golden Knights at the Tsongas Center. The Golden Knights are not going to go down easily, so the UMass players know that they have to bring crisp passing and good defensive position to the table for this pair of contests. At least getting a split in this double-header would be nice, but to emerge with a duo of victories could be huge. This is sure to be a pair of well-attended games, as the fans always get geared up for big matchups like this one.
