        University of Montana Theater Tickets—Serving the university’s students for decades!

        The University of Montana Theater has been serving students and the local area for generations now, providing a venue for entertainment to come from across the country. Productions as diverse as “Grease,” “Rent,” “Cabaret” and more have been held there. Speakers including Tom Brokaw, Sandra Day O’Connor and Clarence Thomas.

        The theater’s history goes back as far as 1928, when students voted for a self-imposed fee to pay for construction of a dance hall and general recreation area (faculty were also concerned about the moral wellbeing of students who sought entertainment in downtown Missoula). It took until 1935 to finally open the theater.

        The theater has become well-known for the stage productions it’s hosted, including a wide array of well-known faces and names. Vincent Price, Marcel Marceau, and Jesse Jackson are a few of the notable personalities that have appeared there. Notable artists include Joan Baez, Sonic Youth, Modest Mouse, and Pearl Jam.
