2014 Utah Utes Football Schedule

The Utes play in the PAC-12 conference, which is traditionally one of the best conferences in all of football and a group of teams that always offers plenty of big-time football. Teams like USC, Oregon, Stanford, and UCLA are the traditional powerhouses in the conference, but all of the other schools in the conference are capable of pulling off big upsets and seemingly coming from out of nowhere to win their division, as Arizona State did in 2013 when they emerged as the champions of the PAC-12 South. If you are looking to see some of the best college football games of the year featuring athletes competing at the highest level you have come to the right place in the PAC-12 as the Utes look to pull it all together and make a big move up the conference standings.

All conference games are important, especially for teams like Utah who are looking to establish themselves as one of the best teams in the PAC-12. It will definitely be a big deal when the USC Trojans come to town on October 25th, which will certainly be one of the biggest matchups in the entire season. Another big time PAC 12 battle takes place at Rice Eccles Stadium on November 8th, when the Oregon Ducks take on the Utes. The Ducks have been one of the best teams in the country over recent years and a win against them would be huge for the Utes and their postseason aspirations.

But it's certainly not just the home matchups, however, as heading out to see the Utes on the road can be every bit as exhilarating and the type of experience that every fan needs to experience sooner or later. A Nov. 1 matchup against Arizona State will certainly have plenty of fanfare, as will a game at Stanford (Nov. 15) and Colorado, giving you all types of opportunities to see big matchups that will have you jumping out of your seat on a regular basis. Once you're there in the middle of a huge game, home or on the road, you'll definitely be glad that you're not still sitting at home wondering what the atmosphere of the stadium is like.

Utah Utes Football Trivia

Did you know when Utah's great running back Jamal Anderson was drafted into the NFL?

After turning some heads for the Utes in the early 1990s, Anderson slipped to the seventh round, where he was finally scooped up by the Atlanta Falcons. That decision turned out to be one of the best decisions in Falcon history, as Anderson elevated his game and ended up helping them all the way to the Super Bowl in 1999 after rushing for more than 1,800 yards during the '98 regular season.
