Wyoming Cowboys Trivia

Did you know that Wyoming alumnus Jay Novacek wasn't drafted until the sixth round of the NFL Draft?

Though Novacek was a dominant player in college, he mainly slipped through the cracks until the St. Louis Cardinals scooped him up in the sixth round of the '85 Draft. Novacek would then go on to stardom with the Dallas Cowboys, where he would win three Super Bowls, go to five Pro Bowl games and go down as one of the best tight ends of his era.
