Initially forming in 2003, the Venezuelan Brass Ensemble formed out of a state-run youth orchestra program. Many of the members of the Venezuelan Brass Ensemble came specifically from the Simon Bolivar Youth Orchestra of Venezuela. Under the brilliant direction of Thomas Clamor during 2005's latin American tour, the Venezuelan Brass Ensemble made a name for themselves as they played throughout countries like Chile and Colombia. From there, it was off to Europe! After touring extensively in Germany, the Venezuelan Brass Ensemble was no longer a little known band of musicians, but a respected ensemble capable of drawing large crowds and filling up concert halls. With 43 people comprising the ensemble, the Venezuelan Brass Ensemble is chock-full of talented musicians. The group released their first album in 2006, entitled "We Got Rhythm!", to rave reviews. Whether the group is performing at London's Royal Festival Hall or at the Salzburg Festival, the Venezuelan Brass Ensemble delivers a standard of music that you can expect to be consistent at every show.
