Did you know that the Ventura Theatre was originally founded as a movie palace?

Way back in the day, when Harold Lloyd, Charlie Chaplin and Buster Keaton were still kings, Ventura Theatre was a celebration of the motion picture when it opened in 1928. Just an hour outside of L.A., it brought much of the glamour of Hollywood with it and early moviegoers were treated to one a spectacular venue that was more than just a place to park it for an hour or two. These days, things are obviously a little bit different, but the tradition of excellence remains much the same, making it a great idea to keep an eye on the calendar at Ventura Theatre.
