The Alley Theatre has been around for 60 years now, and has become a cultural landmark in Houston, Texas. The Dance Studio was the Alley’s first home and was later expanded to a much larger venue, in order to house some of the most acclaimed plays and notable performers. Since it first was built the Alley Theatre has grown and become even more popular with the locals.
Taking photographs or operating a recording device in the theatre is strictly forbidden at all times. Patrons should also remember to silence any pagers, watch alarms and cellular phones so as not to disturb other spectators. Smoking, food and beverages are not allowed inside the theatre. The Alley Theatre also offers an Infrared Listening System to the hearing impaired.
