Guests can access ATM services by the ticket office on 8th St., by Gate 1, and on the Main Concourse by Sections 104, 109, 111, 116, and 121.
Guests may purchase up to 2 alcoholic drinks per person with proper ID. Alcohol will be sold up until the 3rd quarter during Miami Heat games, and on an event-dependent basis during all other events.
Guests may bring small plastic bags, purses, or fanny packs into the Arena, although all containers are subject to search.
The Arena does not allow for any professional recording equipment, although small cameras without flash may be used during Miami Heat games. Please check ahead for event-by-event rules for still camera photography.
The American Airlines Arena allows for children under age 2 who sit in a parent's lap to enter without a ticket. Children age 2 and older must have a ticket.
A few rules are in place to ensure players' and fans' enjoyment and safety.
- No abusive behavior, obscene gestures, or foul language
- Consume alcohol responsibly
- Sit in ticketed seats, and retain your ticket stub
- No fighting, throwing objects, or entering the playing area
- Smoke in designated areas
- No indecent clothing or obscene messages
- Report inappropriate behavior
Staff has been trained to assist fans in dealing with behavior situations in the arena.
Guests can access a variety of concessions managed by Levy Restaurants.
The American Airlines Arena provides various services for disabled guests, including:

Guests may purchase Miami Heat merchandise during home games at various locations throughout the Arena including stands located by Sections 108, 110, 116, 122, 302, 309, 318, and 324, and additional locations may be reached by the east and west sides of the 400 level, and the MiamiHoops Gear Store on the Mezzanine Level.
Guests may enter up to 1 hour prior to start time.

American Airlines Arena does not permit the following items into the Arena. Venue Management will have final discretion over any items even if not included on this list.
- Bags, backpacks, briefcases, and duffle bags larger than 14¿ x 14¿
- Banners
- Bottles, cans, and coolers
- Cameras, video and audio recording devices
- Fireworks
- Illegal substances
- Laser pointers
- Outside food and beverages
- Whistles, horns, or other noise makers
- Weapons of any kind
- Computers
- Laptops
- Large tablet computers
American Airlines Arena doesn't allow for re-entry.
The American Airlines Arena permits signs and banners as long as they contain no foul or obscene images and language, any hard objects such as poles, sticks, or pipes. Additionally, signs and banners should not obstruct the view of any other guests.
Guests may not smoke at the American Airlines Arena except in the balconies outside Sections 104-108, 116-120, and the upper councourse in Sections 308, 324, and 417.
Guests may pick up tickets Monday - Friday 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Eastern time, Monday - Friday at the ticket office on NE 8th St. between Gates 3 and 4, and of course, on the day of the game starting at 12:00 p.m.
Guests can access will call at the ticket office on NE 8th St. Tickets are usually available at least 2 hours prior to the event start time. Guests must have valid photo ID to pick up tickets.
