In most cases, children 2 or younger are permitted in without a ticket and may sit in the parent/guardian's lap. Some events require a ticket no matter the age, so please check the event's individual ticket policies.
Those violating Assembly Hall policies or state or federal laws may be asked to leave the facility.
Will call opens 1.5 hours before tip-off, and can be found in the North Lobby. Guests should bring picture ID.
There are two ATMs, located in the North and South lobbies.
Alcohol isn't allowed in Asssembly Hall, and those appearing to be impaired may be asked to leave the premises.
While bags and purses are allowed, they may be inspected by Assembly Hall staff.
While taking non-flash pictures from your assigned seat is permitted, cameras with lenses longer than 6" and video cameras are not allowed.
Assembly Hall offers an extensive variety of concessions at most events.
Trained medical personnel are on staff during every event, and can be found at the first aid center on the lower concourse, near the Main West entrance, in Room 102.
Outside doors to the Assembly Hall open 1 hour prior to most events. However, for Broadway shows and a select number of other shows, lobby doors will open 1 hour prior to show time but inside theatre doors will not open until 30 minutes prior to show time. Guests are encouraged to arrive early for easy access to seats and services.
Disabled-accessible seating is located throughout the facility, and offered first-come, first-served.
While Assembly Hall assumes no responsibility for lost items, they are taken to the customer service office in Room 101. Call the Customer Service Office at 217.333.5409 to inquire about lost items. Items may be donated to charity or disposed of at the discretion of management after 30 days.
Assembly Hall maintains the right to inspect bags, and prohibits the following:
- Banners and signs
- Cans and bottles
- Noisemakers
- Video cameras
- Umbrellas
- Strollers
Assembly Hall has men's and women's restrooms in 4 places throughout the lower concourse.
Guests may smoke in designated outside areas only.
