The Ben Hill Griffin Stadium promotes a safe and hospitable environment for students and fans alike. Here are a few things to keep in mind:
Be considerate of other guests.
Avoid profane language, physical confrontations, or throwing any objects in the stands. Please consume alcohol responsibly. Guests displaying disruptive behavior will be escorted out of the facilities.
Don't disrupt the game.
Please refrain from entering the field or interfering with the players. Make sure to sit in your ticketed seat, and do not stand in the aisles or on the seats.
There are plenty of ATMs located throughout the stadium.
Please don't bring large bags or backpacks inside the facility. All bags are subject to inspection.
Small, single-lens cameras are allowed inside the stadium. Professional cameras and recording devices aren't permitted.
Fans can purchase team merchandise at sport shops in the North End and South End zones of the stadium, and at souvenir stands located throughout the main concourse.
For guests in need of medical assistance, there are 7 first aid stations located throughout the various zones and levels of the stadium.
All gates open 1.5 hours before kickoff. Students must use Gate 9 or Gates 12-15.
Guest services is located at the UAA Switchboard between Gates 1 and 2. For questions, you can also visit the green kiosks at Gates 2, 7, and 16, or ask any staff member.
To turn in lost items, head to a guest services station. To retrieve a lost item, visit the UAA Switchboard. For questions about lost items after a game, call 352.375.4683, ext. 6800.
It's best to leave these items at home:
- Noisemakers
- Chairbacks larger than 16"
- Containers, including cans and bottles
- Coolers or ice bags
- Outside food or drinks, including alcoholic beverages
- Strollers
- Umbrellas
- Weapons of any kind
Guests are not allowed to re-enter the stadium once they have exited, except in the case of a medical emergency or inclement weather.
You'll find several restrooms on campus that visitors can use while outside the facility, including portable restrooms. Inside the stadium, restrooms are located on every level.
Security staff is available at every event. For assistance, please notify the nearest usher.
Fans can hold signs or banners at games as long as they don't obstruct anyone's view. Make sure your banner stays within the conduct policies of the stadium.
Smoking isn't allowed inside the stadium.
Tailgating is allowed in front of or behind your vehicle, as well as in open grass areas. Just be careful not to block the roads or walkways. Here are a few things to keep in mind:
- Tents aren't allowed in parking areas
- Golf carts, mopeds, and scooters aren't permitted in areas surrounding the stadium
- Large cookers, generators, and portable toilets must be pre-approved by staff before an event
Look for the box office inside the stadium between Gates 1 and 2. Office hours are Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. Eastern time. On game days, the office opens 4 hours before kickoff.
