Formerly a movie theater built in 1915 by architect Thomas Lamb, the renovated theater was renamed in 1976 and dedicated by Massachusetts Governor Michael Dukakis. It was originally used for the Bryant and Stratton School#25;s theater when the school expanded in the #24;70s and today seats over 1,000 patrons in its nearly 200 events a year.
The Berklee Performance Center box office is open Monday through Saturday, 10am to 6pm. On performance days the box office is open two hours prior to show time. For most performances, cameras, audio and video recording devices are prohibited. All children must have a ticket to enter. Wheelchair accessible seating is available as well as assistive listening devices. The theater can be rented.
Pick up tickets one hour prior to show. Customer must present the actual credit card used to place order and a photo I.D.
