The Performing Arts Center first opened in November 1992 and it has three performance spaces that include: the 2,100 seat Belk Theater, the 434 seat Booth Playhouse and the Stage Door Theater which seats 150. The Center is well-known for their presentation of the Broadway Lights Series and also features many national touring Broadway productions.
The food and drink policy depends on which shows are featured at the Blumenthal Performing Arts Center. Once you arrive, you can check with an usher to see what the policy is for the night that you attend. The dress code is casual at the theater, but all patrons must where the basic apparel. It is important to remember to turn off all electronic devices while you are in the theater.
