The Bridges Auditorium first opened in 1932, with Artur Rodzinski conducting the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra. It was designed by architect William Templeton Johnson and reflects a look of Northern Italian Renaissance architecture. The current seating inside the auditorium can hold up to 2,494 patrons and it has hosted some of the biggest artists and personalities since its conception. Fionna Apple, The Dave Matthews Band and Morrisey have been among the modern day performers.
The Box Office at the Bridges Auditorium is open Monday-Friday 9:00 am to 4:00 pm as well as performance days. Will Call is available one hour before showtime. Cameras, recording devices, alcohol, food, cans, bottles and smoking are all strictly prohibited inside the building. Be sure to arrive at least 15 minutes in advance to find your seat.
