Some of the biggest names in theater have performed at the Broadhurst during its time. Patrick Stewart, Katherine Hepburn, Dustin Hoffman, Ian McKellen, Tim Curry and many others are just a selection of the names that have appeared on its playbills. In the late ‘00s, it hosted Equus, starring Daniel Radcliffe, the young actor known best for his role as Harry Potter.
The Broadhurst Theatre is a landmark to theater buffs living in New York. The building was completed in 1918, and was originally built specifically for British playwright George Broadhurst to show off his work. In the ensuing decades, the theater has hosted countless dramatic works of great esteem, including Pulitzer Prize-winning productions.
