The Brown Theatre is located inside of the Wortham Center, which was built in the 1980#25;s. The theatre has a seating capacity of 2,423 and it is considered the #28;big house#29; at the Wortham. The large stage is often used for major performances by the Houston ballet and the Houston Grand Opera. The theatre boasts great vision lines from all of its seats, so that all patrons can enjoy an exceptional view of the stage.

Houston Broadway Series requires everyone be ticketed regardless of age.
There are no cameras, recording devices, cell phones or pagers allowed inside of the theater. There is also a no smoking rule that must be obeyed at all times. No kids under the age of four are allowed inside the theater. It is also important that everyone has a ticket, regardless of age if they would like to see a show at the Brown Theatre.
30 minutes prior to showtime, customers must have picture ID and the credit card used to order the tickets.
