Cafe Du Nord and Swedish American Hall

Cafi Du Nord is located on the north side of Market Street, next to the Shell Gas Station at 15th Street. We are easily accessible by public transportation. The F-Line streetcar stops at the corner of Sanchez and Market. Church and Market is also a major Muni stop; the N, M, L and J lines all stop at the Church Street Station. Street parking in the neighborhood is usually available, but can be limited on busy nights. The Shell gas station on the corner has a limited number of parking spaces for a fee. FROM THE EAST BAY Once off the Bay Bridge, stay on 101 and proceed toward the Golden Gate Bridge. Take the Mission Street exit and go straight through the first stop light. The street ends at Market Street. Turn left on Market, and Cafi Du Nord will be on the right side of the street one block past Safeway, just before the Shell gas station. FROM THE SOUTH BAY Take 101 North to the Mission Street exit. Go straight through the first stop light. The street ends at Market Street. Turn left on Market, and Cafi Du Nord will be on the right side of the street one block past Safeway, just before the Shell gas station. FROM THE NORTH BAY Take 101 South to Lombard, and take Lombard to Van Ness. Turn right on Van Ness and proceed to Market Street. Turn right on Market street, and Cafi Du Nord will be on the right side of the street one block past the large Safeway, just before the Shell gas station.
