The Cain Park was developed in the mid-thirties by a drama teach and Cleveland Heights Mayer Frank Cain. The two developed the area as a way to showcase Cleveland Heights viable living space, and eventual created a summer theatre program with the first production in #25;34 of #28;A Midsummer Night#25;s Dream.#29; There have been constant renovations throughout the years, with new roof structure, upgraded lighting and more into the early #24;00s.
The Box Office Opening Day for the General Public is Saturday, June 6 from 9am to 5pm. The Cain Park Box Office will be closed Sunday, June 7 and Monday, June 8. The Cain Park Box Office will reopen Tuesday, June 9 until Sunday, August 23. The Box Office hours are: Mondays, CLOSED; Tuesdays and Thursdays 5pm-9pm; Wednesdays 12pm-5pm; Fridays-Sundays 12pm-9pm. During the Cain Park Arts Festival (July 10-12), the Box Office hours are Friday, July 10th 3pm-8pm; Saturday, July 11th 10am-8pm; Sunday July 12th 12pm-5pm. The Box Office is closed July 3-6. The Box Office accepts cash, checks, money orders, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. Cameras and recording devices are not permitted. Regardless of age, every person, including children and babies, must have a proper ticket to attend any ticketed event at Cain Park.
