Alcohol is available on the premises, and standard stadium rules apply: 21 years of age to purchase or consume alcohol, no drinks in or out, 2 beer maximum at concessions, and alcohol sales are discontinued at the end of the 3rd quarter. Patrons displaying drunk or disorderly behavior may be asked to leave the premises.
The 49ers and associated business encourage responsible alcohol consumption, they participate in TEAM - Techniques for Effective Alcohol Management - and support the Bud Light Good Sport Designated Driver Program.
If another fan is exhibiting drunken behavior, notify a Code of Conduct Enforcement team member (wearing green jackets) who are situated throughout the arena.
If your child is under 2, they can enter Candlestick for free as long they're accompanied by a ticketed adult, and share a seat.
Candlestick suggests pinning a ticket stub, nametag, or additional information to children's clothes, to aid 49ers staff in reuniting children with parents in the case they get lost.
Here are a few things to remember while attending games at Candlestick Park to ensure everyone has a good time.
- Refrain from abusive language and behavior, fighting, taunting, or gang behavior
- Drink responsibly
- Don't interrupt the game or distract the progress
- Throwing objects of any kind is prohibited
- Mistreatment of the opposing team or fans is highly discouraged
- Remain sitting for the majority of the game, and have your seat ticket on hand
Will call can now be easily found between the Jinko Solar Gate (Gate F) and the Verizon Gate (Gate E) outside the stadium.
Will call tickets can be picked up as early as 3 hours before the event, and, for football games, until half-time.
You'll need a government-issued photo ID that matches the name on the envelope to claim will call tickets.
There are U.S. Bank ATMs throughout the stadium.
- Lower concourse: Section 9-11, 13-15, and 26-28
- Upper concourse: Section 28-30, 30-32
- Within the Grand Plaza behind will call
Small bags are allowed, as long as they're less than 14"x14"x10". Coolers ¿ including soft-sided coolers - are not allowed.
Amateur photos and video are allowed in Candlestick, but professional photography including flash, tripods, or monopods, isn't allowed.
There's no re-broadcast of any portion of the game. Don't obstruct the sight of other fans.
Concession stands run by Centerplate along the upper and lower concourses have a variety of of food. All concessions are wheelchair accessible and ADA-compliant. Most concessions accept Visa credit/debit cards.
Many accomodations have been made for guests with disability.
Entering the Stadium
There's an elevator located near the Players's Parking Lot, near Gates A and F.
Seating
Wheelchair accessible seating is prevalent throughout the stadium. Depending on availability, season ticket seats may be exchanged for a wheelchair accessible seat. Companion seating chairs can usually be made available. For more specifics on sections and seating, it's suggested to call the office at 415.656.4900.
There are no wheelchairs for rent, but in the case of emergency, there are some at first aid stations and guest services.
Restrooms
All restrooms on the ground level, main level and upper levels are wheelchair accessible, as well as most restrooms on the LEXUS Luxury Suite Level.
Telephones and TDD
There are wheelchair accessible phones with volume control on the upper and lower levels, and TDD phones at first aid stations.
There are multiple locations on the premises for shopping during game days, both inside and outside the stadium. The Bud Light Plaza has a new Women's Only Location.
If you need medical assistance, contact the first aid station on the lower concourse, found near Section 7. In the Upper Reserved Level, first aid is near S5ection 54.
For immediate assistance, contact the nearest usher or security guard. Ambulances and first aid personnel are on hand at all times.
The only bottles allowed into the stadium are sealed plastic bottles. Cans, glass, and all alcoholic beverages need to be left at home. Food and fruit may be brought in, as long it's cut into small pieces for children.
General admission is open two hours before kick-off, but fans with LEXUS | Luxury Suite tickets can enter through Gates A, B, E, or F up to 3 hours before kick-off, as can Stadium Club Members (Gate A, only.)
The entire 49ers staff is dedicated to creating an enjoyable experience. For assistance, visit guest services locations across the stadium on the LEXUS | Luxury Suite Level, Room 397. (This is below the Upper Concourse Section 27.)
Lost and found is located at the security office, on the LEXUS | Luxury Suite Level next to Ramp 2. After the game, contact Contemporary Services Corporation at 650.524.8889.
If you've been seperated from your child, contact an usher, 49ers security personnel, or the Police Sub-station at Lower Section 7.
There are a few things it's best to leave at home:
- Large bags, coolers, large purses, backpacks
- Weapons of any kind (including silverware)
- Cans, glass, alcohol, outside food or beverage
- Noisemakers of any kind
- Projectiles, including beach balls or blow-up toys, sports balls, or frisbees
- Laser pointers
- Banners, signs, and polls
In addition there are a few things to remember for the fan code of conduct:
- Avoiod Disorderly conduct, gang-related activity, public inebriation
- Refrain from public displays of affection
- No fighting, taunting, or threatening
- Don't disrupt the game in any way
- Don't hinder the enjoyment of hte game for other fans
There's generally no re-entry. In the case of an emergency, contact a ticket taker supervisor.
Public restrooms, spread throughout the stadium, are all accessible by wheelchair.
Security is on hand during events. The security office is located next to Ramp 2 on the Mezzanine. Around the stadium, security guards can be found in yellow jackets, and supervisors in red or blue.
There are no banners or signs allowed, but flags are permitted. Keep the message clean, and don't block the view of other fans.
There's no smoking anywhere in Candlestick Park.
Tailgaiting is allowed, but there are a few stipulations. Here they are:
- No amplified sound
- Excessive consumption of alcohol is highly discouraged
- Don't impede vehicle or foot traffic
- One stall per vehicle, with no exceptions
- No taking over empty parking spaces for tailgating
- Your tent or canopy must be smaller than 8"x8"
- Post-game tailgating subject to management discretion
