The 2,100-seat Cannon Center for the Performing Arts opened in Memphis, Tennessee in 2003 and was named after Bob and Kitty Cannon for their contributions to the venue. The Cannon Center has hosted big-name artists and shows such as Kindred the Family Soul, Up Close and Personal, Brahms & Awadagin, Celtic Soul and Playhouse Disney Live! On Tour, among several others.
The Cannon Center for the Performing Arts is Memphis#25; go-to venue for events including theater performances, concerts and many, many more. The Cannon Center is home to the Memphis Symphony Orchestra and often hosts ballet, opera, pop and jazz concerts. Box office hours at the venue vary, and Will Call is open 90 minutes prior to events. Visa, MasterCard and cash are accepted payment methods at the Cannon Center. Cameras, recording devices, coolers, cans, bottles or alcohol of any kind are all prohibited from the venue.
