The University of Texas consistently has one of the best college football teams in the country, and the Darrell K Royal Texas Memorial Stadium is where all the magic happens on the football field for the Longhorns. The stadium is named after the legendary UT football coach Darrell K Royal, who led the team to three national championships and 11 Southwest Conference titles in his tenure as coach. The stadium was named after him in 1996, and it has since undergone more than $15 million in improvements and renovations.
The Darrell K Royal - Texas Memorial Stadium is home to the University of Texas Longhorn football team, and is the largest football venue in the state of Texas and in the entire Big 12 Conference. The football stadium seats 94,113, and the UT Athletics Ticket Office is located at Bellmont Hall on the first floor lobby. All ticket sales are final. Banners, coolers and alcohol are prohibited in the stadium.
