Most shows at the Durham Performing Arts Center don't allow photography or audio and video recording.
Please don't text or use your phone during the show.
Children under the age of 5 aren't allowed into the Durham Performing Arts Center, with the exception of select shows, such as special holiday events and Disney branded attractions. All children must have a ticket and must be able to sit quietly so those around them aren't disturbed.
In any of the lobbies of the Blue Cross Blue Shield Atrium (Entry Lobby, Orchestra Lobby, and Grand Tier/Balcony Lobby), you can enjoy light snacks and drinks before the show.
You'll find permanent snack and beverage windows carrying water, alcoholic beverages, and light snacks in each of the lobbies:
You'll also find select hot food items in the lobbies, although the menu is mostly snack oriented. If you would like recommendations on what to eat before a specific show, please visit the "plan your visit" page at www.DPACnc.com.
The venue is accessible.
You're welcome to bring small snacks and drinks into the seating area, but please be mindful of the other guests and limit the noise from wrappers and your drinks. Please keep in mind that you are requested to finish your sandwiches and larger food items before coming into the seating area.
There are restrooms throughout the venue.
