You'll find ATMs inside the official team store, located behind Section 114, and directly across from Café 54, located behind Section 112.
In the stands:
Alcohol sales will stop at the end of the 7th inning, or 3 hours after the scheduled first pitch, whichever comes first.
At the concession stands:
Alcohol sales will stop at the end of the 8th inning, or 3.5 hours after the scheduled first pitch, whichever comes first.
Please take note of the following:
- All vendors must have a valid state or government-issued ID in order to sell alcohol in the park.
- There's a 2 drink limit per person, per transaction. You have to present valid ID in order to buy any alcohol.
- The park and staff reserve the right to refuse the sale or service of alcohol to anyone who doesn't have valid ID or seems intoxicated.
You can't bring coolers into Ed Smith Stadium, but bags that are smaller than 16"x16"x8" are allowed.
You're allowed to bring your cameras and video recorders into the ballpark, but they're only for personal use. Please keep in mind that your equipment can't be used to record the game or get in the way of anyone's enjoyment of the game.
Please be courteous of those around you while at the ballpark. If you become disruptive of anyone's enjoyment of the game, you'll be asked to leave the park. The following is considered inappropriate or disruptive behavior:
- Any foul, obscene, or abusive language or gestures
- Acting or appearing intoxicated
- Indecent or obscene clothing
- Inappropriate displays of affection (it's a family environment!)
- Disturbing the progress of the game in any way
- Sitting in a seat other than what is stated on your ticket
If someone is disturbing your enjoyment of the game with inappropriate behavior, please contact an usher or visit the Fan Assistance Center.
In the event that you need wheelchair assistance while at the park, please visit the Fan Assistance Center, which is located behind home plate (behind Section 112). Wheelchairs have been donated for your convenience by Sarasota Memorial Hospital and you're welcome to use them to get to and from your seats.
You'll find the first aid behind home plate on the main level (behind Section 112). They can provide band-aids, suntan lotion, and other similar items that you may need while at the park. Also, for your convenience, paramedic units are on duty during the games.
At the Fan Assistance Center, you'll be able to get assistance with any situation that arises during your visit to Ed Smith Stadium, obtain information, and offer suggestions. The Fan Assistance Center, a courtesy of the Sarasota Herald-Tribune, can be found behind home plate (behind Section 112) and is open from the time the gates open until 15 minutes after the game ends.
If you're curious about what to do while in Sarasota, you can visit the nearby Sarasota Convention and Visitors Bureau gazebo for information.
In the event that you lose or find anything while at Ed Smith Stadium, go to the Fan Assistance Center. If you realize that you've lost an item after you leave the ballpark, please call 941.893.6300 and someone will assist you.
Any children that are separated from their parents and their respective parents should go to the Fan Assistance Center that is located behind home plate (behind Section 112). Please make sure to inform your children of this!
Sorry, the following items aren't allowed:
- Glass bottles, cans, plastic or paper cups, or alcoholic beverages
- Hard-sided coolers or thermoses
- Umbrellas
- Bags larger than 16"x16"x8", or bags on wheels
You're allowed to bring in non-alcoholic beverages in plastic bottles, but keep in mind that everything will be inspected at the gate.
Anything that you want to bring into the park will be inspected and everything must fit inside a container smaller than 16"x16"x8". You can't leave anything at the gate, and you must take it all back to your car. Re-entry isn't allowed.
Sorry, re-entry isn't allowed, unless previously authorized by the Director of Florida Operations. Permission is granted only in emergency situations, on a case-by-case basis. If you're requesting re-entry permission, you must go to the Fan Assistance Center for further guidance.
For your convenience, restrooms are located on all levels throughout the ballpark. You'll find diaper changing stations in most of the men's and women's restrooms. If you have to take a child of the opposite sex to the restroom, you can use the family restroom and waiting area located behind section 114.
Fan support is encouraged at Ed Smith Stadium! Bring your banners and signs, but please keep the following rules and regulations in consideration:
- In order to ensure an unobstructed view of the game, hanging of signs and banners isn't allowed anywhere in the ballpark. Signs and banners may be displayed before the game, after the game, and between innings only.
- Signs and banners will be confiscated if they contain anything profane, explicit, commercial, political, or in bad taste.
Sorry, smoking isn't allowed inside Ed Smith Stadium. If you need to smoke, please do so before entering the ballpark, as re-entry isn't allowed. Please keep in mind that electronic cigarettes are also prohibited.
Tailgating is welcome. There are pre-game picnics areas in the Left Field Bullpen Perch and the Right Field Bullpen Perch, which are located just above the bullpens. Designed for groups of 20-200 fans, you can take advantage of a traditional ballpark menu and a unique view of the action starting at $38 USD per person.
