Visitors to the Fisher Theatre can#25;t experience a show without commenting on the grandness in its aesthetic design. It opened as a movie palace and vaudeville venue in 1928. It became a live theatre in 1961, and has since scaled down its size a bit, from 3,500 seats to 2,089, to ensure an intimate and enjoyable performance.
