The Indiana University Auditorium was built as a Federal Works Agency Project under the Roosevelt administration and opened in 1941. The Indiana University Auditorium is located in the center of the University of Indiana and has hosted notable people like Mikhail Gorbachev, Bill Cosby, Les Miserables and the Metropolitan Opera. The Indiana University Auditorium was closed for a $13 million renovation and restoration in 1997 and reopened in 1999.
Personal items may be checked with an attendant free of charge in the Hall of Murals. Refreshments are available prior to the performance and during intermission. The Indiana University Auditorium Box Office is open Monday #19; Friday, 10:00am #19; 5:00pm; closed Saturday and Sunday except on performance nights.
