Jones Hall is named after Jesse Holman Jones, a man who helped build Houston as a city in the early part of the 20th Century, and played an important role in Frank Delano Roosevelt#25;s administration during the Depression as well. During his lifetime, he contributed to the construction of at least 35 buildings that figured in the Houston skyline.
For the Houston Symphony a child must be at least 6 to enter.
