The Laredo Entertainment Center was constructed in 2000 as a state-of-the-art multipurpose center in Laredo, Texas. Entertainment acts that have graced the LEC include Elton John, Cher, Julio Iglesias, Shakira, WWE, Juanes, the Harlem Globetrotters, Ringling Bros. and Barnum and Bailey Circus, Disney on Ice and several others.
The Laredo Entertainment Center is the premiere spot for all entertainment acts in south Texas and northern Mexico. The venue hosts multiple sporting events, concerts, ice shows, circuses, trade shows, rodeos and much, much more in its 178,000 square foot premises. The LEC includes 14 suites, six meeting rooms and a private club, and capacity for the facility is 10,000. Food, drinks, weapons, coolers, fireworks, cameras and smoking are prohibited in the facility. The box office is located at 6700 Arena Boulevard and is open on event days until an hour after the event begins.
