ATMs are available outside the box office, inside the Arena, and on the Third Floor Club Terrace.
You can usually buy alcoholic drinks at events at Madison Square Garden. Each guest can only buy two alcoholic beverages at a time. You'll have to show ID for purchase. Outside drinks aren't allowed in, and purchased drinks aren't allowed out. MSG staff may refuse to sell alcohol to anyone at their discretion. Remember to enjoy alcohol responsibly.
Anything and anyone may be subject to search. Only bring bags that are small enough to fit under your seat. No coat or bag check is available. MSG isn't responsible for loss, theft or damage of property.
Casual photography is allowed, but the following things are not:
- Video cameras
- Monopods or tripods
- Cameras with telephoto or zoom lenses
- Flash photography
Each even will set its own minimum age requirement, so check the event profile. Usually, kids two and over will need a ticket, and kids under two on laps do not. For some kids events, kids over age one will need a ticket. For more info, call guest services at 212.465.6225.
Please be courteous so everyone can enjoy themselves. Try not to block other guests' views - this means only stand in front of the seat you purchased, and don't stand on chairs or block the aisles. Don't interfere with the performers or athletes. No offensive language, obscene gestures, throwing things, or fighting. For some events, you'll need to wait for play to stop before you can move around. On the gate floor, guests have to stay behind the black line. Follow all instructions, directions and security procedures given to you by MSG staff. If anyone else is being inappropriate or offensive, contact staff or security. Guests who violate the code may be ejected without refund and, if appropriate, arrested (and season ticketholders may lose their subscription).
Lots of concessions, from hamburgers and hotdogs to salads and subs, are available. Major credit cards are accepted.
Guests with disabilities should contact the Disabled Services department to buy tickets by calling 212.465.6034 on any weekday between 9:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Eastern. You'll be able to purchase at least a ticket for yourself and one companion, possibly more tickets nearby. If you're in a wheelchair but didn't buy accessible seats, call the Disabled Services department and they'll do what they can to get you seated in the right place. All suites are accessible for wheelchairs, but please call in advance to let them know you're coming.
Wheelchairs are available to transport guests from the lobby to their seats. Ask security for assistance. You won't be able to stay in the wheelchair for the event.

There are merchandise stands throguhout Madison Square Garden. The Madison Square Garden Store and Madison Square Garden Express Store are both on level 8. If you aren't attending an event, you can still go to the Tour Store in the box office lobby from 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Eastern. Major credit cards are accepted - no checks or money orders.
There are first aid areas on floors 5 and 6, as well as a medical office in the theater lobby. There are Automatic External Defibrillators (AEDs) throughout the building, and designated staff members have been trained to use them. If you have an emergency, contact staff for help.
No outside food or drinks are allowed in.
Doors will open one hour before most events. If you have Club tickets for a Knicks or Rangers game, you can get into The Ainsworth Prime 2 hours before.

Usually there's no re-entry, unless an exception is printed on the ticket.
There are men's and women's restrooms on the 5th, 6th, 7th and 9th floors, and family restrooms on the 6th floor.
19,763 guests can enjoy a basketball event, and 18,200 can attend hockey. For other events, capacity varies. The theater seats 5,600.
You can bring in signs of support, as long as they aren't obscene or derogatory, aren't mounted on a pole, and don't block anyone's view. Guests who break these policies will have their signs taken and may be ejected.
Madison Square Garden is non-smoking, and this is strictly enforced. No re-entry if you leave to smoke.
Will call tickets can be picked up at window 5, and sometimes other nearby windows. You'll need to bring a valid photo ID and the credit card you used to buy the tickets. Will call usually closes one hour after an event begins.
