Malone Stadium has been home to the University of Louisiana at Monroe (UNL) Warhawks since 1978 and underwent a major renovation in 2007. Malone Stadium was named for James L. Malone, the winningest coach at Northeast Louisiana. The first game played at Malone Stadium was against the Arkansas State Indians on September 16, 1978.
