The McCoy Stadium first opened June 1946 and is currently home to the Pawtucket Red Sox of the International League, a Minor League Baseball team. The stadium was created by former Pawtucket Major Thomas P. McCoy and after years of team change are now associated with the Boston Red Sox. Recently, for one night only, the McCoy Stadium hosts a summer concert, with past performers that include Bob Dylan, Collective Soul, Counting Crows, Mighty Mighty Bosstones and Dropkick Murphys.
All bags are subject to inspection. Prohibited items include coolers/containers, weapons, flags, banners with poles, laser lights, beach balls, outside food or beverage (with the exception of one sealed bottle of water no larger than 16 oz), glass containers, folding/standing chairs, or noisemakers. Smoking is restricted to designated areas outside main gate and Gate A & B. All sales are final.
