Memorial Stadium opened in 1925 with 16,000 seats as a way to honor the University of Oklahoma Students who lost their lives in World War I. The venue has been expanded multiple times, the most recent being via the Gaylord Family. The Gaylord Family Memorial Stadium is home to the legendary University of Oklahoma Sooners, who have won seven national championships, 144 All-American and boast four Heisman Trophy winners.
Among the restricted items are alcoholic beverages, baby strollers, backpacks, cameras, coolers, folding chairs, noise makers, video cameras, baby seats, laser pointers and more.
