The New Hampshire International Speedway opened in 1990 via the Bahre family, a longtime racing family. Its first race was the Budweiser 300 for the Busch Series. The Speedway is deemed the #28;Martinsville on steroids#29; as it is considered the most difficult oval in motorsports and most unusual in the Cup Series circuit.
The following items are prohibited in the grandstand area: coolers more than 14 inches, lawn chairs and pets. The following items are prohibited on speedway property: fireworks, scaffolding, ATV's, mopeds, scooters, bicycles and golf carts.
