Peden Stadium first opened in 1929 and cost $185,000 to build. It is named after former Bobcat head coach Don Peden, who coached at Ohio from 1924 to 1946. The stadium has since been through numerous renovations. A large addition was the tower build between 1989 and 1992. In 2005, the stadium training facility was renovated, as were other parts of the stadium.
The gates for the Peden Stadium open 90 minutes before kickoff. The will call window is at the North Tower ticket office. Alcoholic beverages, umbrellas, strollers, coolers, and video cameras are not permitted. There is no smoking at the stadium. Children three years of age and older need a ticket of their own. Any children under three without a ticket must sit on a parent or guardian#25;s lap.
