A special pipe organ provided music accompaniment#20;but cost $7,500 (which is estimated to be about $80,000 in 2004 dollars). The historic Rialto Theatre has been drawing patrons of the arts for decades to its beautiful building to view brilliant dramas, musicals and more. The Rialto gets its name from a kind of Italian bridge which, during the middle ages, often housed shops and businesses under its arches. These were known as a center of commerce and entertainment.
