The Rose Theater is a collaboration between Jazz at Lincoln Center and Artistic Director Wynton Marsalis. The jazz performance hall has a concert shell ceiling and features eleven movable on-stage seating towers that can be adjusted for each performance. During concerts, seating capacity can reach up to 1,233 patrons.
The Rose Theater Box Office is located in The Shops at Columbus Circle inside the Broadway at 60th Street entrance. The Box Office is open Monday through Saturday, 10am to 6pm and Sunday, noon to 6pm, or 30 minutes past curtain. Disability accessible. Administrative offices are located at 33 West 60th St, Fl. 11. All children must have tickets for every performance, though some performances are geared more toward children and families. All bags are subject to search by security; backpacks and carry-on size rolling suitcases are not permitted in concert halls. All cameras must be checked; no photography or use of recording devises is allowed. Outside beverages are not allowed in any of the concert halls, though there are concessions selling meals, snacks and drinks during intermissions.
