Ryman Auditorium

Please be respectful so that all guests can enjoy themselves. Guests who don't abide by this policy may be ejected.

There's an ATM by the grand staircase in the main lobby.

Each performer or event sets their own camera policy, but when they're allowed, only amateur cameras please. No detachable or telephoto lenses. 

You can buy snacks and bottled drinks in the gift shop during the day, and for evening events, there are concession stands. For most events, alcoholic drinks are available, and you can usually take food and drink into the auditorium, but this may vary - look for signs. No taking drinks out of the building.

Wheelchair escorts are available at any entrance upon request for evening events. (They'll take you to your seat, but won't stay with you.) Your wheelchair can be stored during the event if you want to move to a seat. You can purchase tickets for accessible seating areas on the main floor or balcony for every event - just let them know you need special seating. You can buy one ticket for a companion to sit with you, and if you need additional seats for your party, they'll try to get them nearby. Call 615.889.3060 if you have questions.

Tours are fully wheelchair accessible. Certified service animals are welcome.

There's a gift shop in the lobby where you can buy Ryman merchandise, as well as CDs, DVDs, and books.

For help, contact a staff member. Security staff are trained in CPR and first aid.

Sorry, no outside food or drinks are allowed inside.

Unless otherwise posted, doors open one our before an event starts.

For help with anything, ask an usher or security officer. 

While you're still at Ryman Auditorium, go to security if you've lost or found anything. Or you can call 615.458.8700 afterwards. Management isn't responsible for lost or stolen items.

Here are some items not allowed at Ryman Auditorium:

• Outside food and drinks, including alcohol


• Cans or bottles


• Oversized bags


• Drugs


• Laser pointers


• Masks


• Laptops


• Musical instruments (except for Make A Record)


• Video cameras or audio recording equipment


• Professional camera equipment

Ryman's capacity is 2,362.

Ryman security officers, licenses in the state of Tennesee, are always on hand for your protection. 

Per law, smoking and open flames are strictly prohibited.

Box office hours are 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Central, every day except Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day. When there's an event at night, the box office opens again at least an hour before doors open. Tickets can be purhcased here for all events, tours, and other Gaylord Entertainment features.

Guided backstage tours offer a glimpse at Ryman's fascinating history, every half hour from 9:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Central time. Subject to availability, and cancellations may occur because of special events.
