James Polk Theater is just one of several state-of-the-art facilities located within the Tennessee Performing Arts Center in Nashville. The James K. Polk Theater hosts 1,075 theatergoers, while the Andrew Jackson Hall hosts 2,472, Andrew Johnson Theater holds 256 and War Memorial Auditorium holds 1,661. The TPAC#25;s James Polk Theater is an intimate proscenium theater that has hosted several big-name events since 1981, when TPAC opened its doors to the public.
The main Tennessee Performing Arts Center Box Office is open Monday thru Friday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and also 90 minutes prior to curtain call. Will Call is located in the Andrew Jackson Hall lobby and opens 90 minutes prior to curtain. All major credit cards and cash are accepted, and checks are accepted from TPAC season subscribers only. Accessible seating is available at the venue. Cameras and smoking are both prohibited from the facility.
