The Turlock Community Theater is a key feature in the main old building of the Turlock High School. The theater originally served as the main auditorium for the high school and is included in the national Register of Historic Buildings. Most concerts last about 90 minutes, with the exception of encores. The doors to the Lobby open one hour prior to ever performance. The theater usually begins seating within five to ten minutes, but seating is assigned so if you arrive close to the show you do not need to worry about losing your seat.
Turlock Community Theater does not allow beverages and snacks in the seating area, and there is not concession available. The only exception to this rule is bottled water, which the theater makes an allowance of one bottle per customer. While there are occasions where photographs are allowed, they are usually prohibited, there will be signs indicating if this is the case. There is some wheelchair and ambulatory seating available at the theater and a special entrance for those who require it.
