United Center aims to offer guests a family atmosphere, and asks guests to refrain from using foul language, wearing obscene clothing, or being intoxicated. The venue will eject guests who do not comply and/or not allow them to enter the arena.
The United Center allows non-flash cameras without tripods to be used at events. Video cameras are not allowed at any time. For concerts, the event producer may deny use of a camera during a show.
The United Center welcomes children, and those under 36" do not require a ticket if they are accompanied by an adult and remain on the adult's lap for the duration of the events.
Guests will find 46 concession stands throughout the arena.
Guests wishing to purchase Bulls and/or Blackhawk merchandise will find stands throughout the arena, with the main store by Section 117.
First aid services are located by Section 115 and 327.
The United Center does not allow any outside food or beverages. Concessions will be available for all events, and alcholic beverages will be sold if guests present proper ID.
Guests can enter starting 1.25 hours prior to the beginning of an event.
Guest services locations are by Gates 2 and 6, and in Sections 221 and 325.
Guests who believe they have lost an item can contact guest relations after an event at 312.455.4504 between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Central time, Monday through Friday.
Here are a few things that aren't allowed inside:
- Air horns or any other artificial noise makers
- Laser pens or laser products of any type
- Animals (excluding service animals)
- Outside food or beverage of any kind (alcoholic beverages included)
- Projectiles or weapons of any kind
- Poles or sticks
- Fireworks
Guests will not be able to re-enter the facility during events.
Guests will be able to use bathrooms on all levels, with family restrooms available on the 100 level. Additionally, first aid facilities are by Sections 115/116 and 303/304.
The United Center holds 19,717 seated guests for hockey games and 23,500 guests for concerts.
Guests are not allowed to smoke on the arena premises except in the designated smoking area by Gate 7.
Tailgating isn't allowed.
Regular hours: 11:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Central, Monday - Saturday.
Event day hours: 11:00 a.m. - halftime during Chicago Bulls games, or to the end of first intermission of Blackhawks games.
Summer hours: 11:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Monday - Friday (after Blackhawks and Bulls season ends).
Guests can find will call by Gate 4 at the box office.
