Blaisdell Center is located in downtown Honolulu, minutes from the downtown business district, restaurants, major shopping areas, and Waikiki hotels.
From the airport:
Take the H-1 Fwy. East (towards Waikiki) and exit onto King St. Turn right at Kapahulu Ave. and stay in the left lane. At the the end of Kapahulu Ave., where it comes to a ¿T¿ with Kalakaua Ave., turn left at the light and take the immediate left (onto Monsarrat Ave.). The parking lot will be on the right.
Travel east on Kalakaua Ave. (toward Diamond Head), and turn left onto Monsarrat Ave. The parking lot will be on the right.
The parking lot is on the right side of Monsarrat Ave., and there is metered parking next to the Shell.

The Waikiki Shell is part of the Neal S. Blaisdell Center, and all events are rain or shine.
Bags, knapsacks, and coolers aren't allowed. Umbrellas are okay on rainy days.

Outside food and drink isn't allowed.
Gates open 1 - 1.5 hours before the event.

The Waikiki Shell can hold 8,463 people: 1,958 seated; 6,000 on the lawn; and 505 in the front "pool" (orchestra pit).
The Bandshell box office is open Monday - Saturday from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Hawaii-Aleutian time. It's closed on Sundays and holidays unless there is a scheduled event.
