Everyone, even babies, needs a ticket, but the Children's Theatre-in-the-Woods is free for children under 2.
Wolf Trap requires everyone to have a ticket and sit in the seat specifed by that ticket. There is no eating, drinking, or smoking in the covered seating areas, and patrons should keep their shirts and shoes on at all times. Pets are not permitted (but service animals are). Disturbing or loud behavior is grounds for removal. Lawn chairs are acceptable only in designated areas, and open fires or cooking is not allowed.

To reserve seating for patrons with disabilities go to the box office or call 703.255.1849. Please give 3-weeks notice. FM Loop amplification headsets are available at no charge; just ask an usher.
Outside food and drink (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) is allowed, as are all containers except kegs. Food and drink can be consumed in the picnic areas and on the lawn, but only bottled water is allowed in the seated area.
Gates to the lawn open 1.5 hours before the event. Lawn seating is first-come, first-serve and there is usually a line. The reserved (pavilion) seats are accessible a half hour before show time.
The capacity is 7,028 total: 3,868 in-house and 3,160 lawn.
There is no smoking allowed in the Filene Center, or within 25 feet of the gates.
The Filene Center box office is open 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Eastern time Monday through Friday, and 12:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Eastern time on Saturdays and Sundays. On performance days it stays open until 9:00 p.m. Eastern time. It is closed on major holidays.
Patrons can pick up purchased tickets at the box office during normal hours. A photo ID and confirmation number are required.
