Originally established in 1927, the Walker Art Center first gathered in the Upper Midwest, focusing on modern art by the
1940s with pieces from Picasso, Henry Moore, Alberto Giacometti and more. In the ‘60s the center extended to include
more modern exhibitions from performing arts, film and education programs that have allowed a wider audience and literal
expansion to take hold.
Recently redeveloped, the Walker Art Center opens its doors to a variety of art critics and fans as the pieces included
in the venue are increasingly diverse. With its “town square” design, the center applies for one of most amazing
day adventures in the area, creating a serious requirement for Walker Art Center tickets
no matter the season or occasion!
With a series of events that bring people together unlike any other area in the district, Walker
Art Center tickets aren't just about enjoying today's modern art and history but about learning to appreciate the effort
and understand it with others. It's a unique, inviting and innovative museum style venue that offers up so many options for
all types of patrons!
