Do you know who had the highest Heisman voting in program history?
The answer is Steve
Emtman, the spectacular defensive end who was an absolute terror on the defensive line throughout his career playing for the
Huskies. In 1991, Emtman took a big step forward and was a unanimous All-American, leading to him place fourth in the Heisman
voting for the year. After that, the word about Emtman was out and the Indianapolis Colts selected him first overall in the
1992 NFL draft. After playing in the NFL, Emtman would return to Washington to be an assistant coach with the Spokane Shock
