the only player in history to make it to the CFL and NFL Hall of Fame?
After lighting up secondaries for the Huskies,
he continued to do that in the CFL before heading to superstardom in the NFL, where he changed the game by playing for the
Houston Oilers. Moon remains one of the best players to ever come to campus and play for the Huskies.
Huskies Football History
With a long history of success, it's no surprise that the Huskies have an amazing fan base.
The Huskies took home the PCC title in 1919, 1925 and 1936, and went on to win the AAWU in 1959, 1960 and 1963. As part of
the Pac-8, the Huskies won the conference championship in 1977, and in the Pac-10 they won the conference title in 1980, 1981,
1990, 1991, 1992, 1995 and 2000. The Rose Bowl is the most prestigious bowl game for the Pac-12 teams to play in these days,
and the Huskies are no stranger in Pasadena. Washington has several Rose Bowl victories, including one over Wisconsin in 1959,
a win over Minnesota in 1960, wins over Michigan in 1977 and 1991, wins over Iowa in 1981 and 1990, and a win over Purdue
for the Rose Bowl title in 2000. These days, the Huskies are looking to recapture the top of the conference standings, giving
