in music. He and Jerry performed on a TV show, Lew King Rangers Show, which caught the attention of a Las Vegas booking agent.
The agent signed the brothers and they started to perform up to six shows a day, with their performances airing on local TV
shows as well as in live concert venues. Newton started out his career as one of Las Vegas' premier entertainers as an opening
act for artists like Jack Benny, Lucille Ball, George Burns, Bobby Darin, and Danny Thomas. He soon became a smash hit not
just in Vegas, but also all over the country.
He spent the 1980s and 1990s performing in front of thousands of people
each year at his Las Vegas shows, and he started to get involved with local real estate on the side. In true entertainer form,
Newton didn't limit his stage presence to music; he has also appeared in countless TV shows and films throughout the years.
